The Lake Bemidji Dragon Boat Festival is a popular waterfront activity and promises to be a big Bemidji event. More than a thousand race participants and thousands of spectators are expected, making the waterfront the place to be. With many events spread over three days, vendors will have a unique opportunity to offer their product to many participants, spectators, festival goers, and visitors. Vendors agree to be open for sales at a minimum the following hours:Thursday, August 5th: 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Friday, August 6th: Noon to 9:00pm
Saturday, August 7th: 10:00am to 9:00pm
A Yummy Opportunity
We are seeking concessions vendors to set up and sell food and beverages over the course of the festival. The vendor fee for a rental space is $500. If selected, you will be given a great location in a high traffic area in close proximity to the Dragon’s Den (beer tent) in addition to access to power and water. Please fill out an application form with additional information. If you’re interested in participating we ask that you fill out the form and return it by April 30th. We will then review all requests and make our vendor selections and contact those chosen soon after the deadline. The reason for the selection process is to help eliminate duplication of “main products” and pick vendors that will best fit the theme of the event. This will help ensure the success of both the vendors that participate and the overall festival. If selected, you will then have until June 15th to submit payment in order to reserve and secure your space for participation in this exciting event.
